Join our Best Practice Forum.

If you are a member of a grassroot community, an environmental activist or human rights defender, join Roots2Justice and our Best Practice Forum. We are creating a global community of legal specialists, grassroot activists and organisations to connect, share and learn from each other on how to most effectively tackle environmental and climate degradation and corporate malpractice. We aim to accelerate learning by transferring best practice, testing legal strategies and sharing expertise across jurisdictions through an approach rooted in collaboration, community knowledge and vision.

The Best Practice Forum will provide space for multidisciplinary support, acceleration of legal knowledge and across jurisdictions peer-to-peer exchanges to sharply increase the capacity of grassroots communities and environmental advocates to enforce their rights when combatting corporate malpractice.

Key areas of focus and expertise identified by grassroots communities and environmental advocates will include:

"It is women who have to face poverty every day. It is women who have to fetch water to bathe our children. Now as women we are confronting the mining companies because we need the natural resources. We are fighting for what is ours."

Lilian Borjas, Honduran human rights defender
